About these terms
This website is operated by Student and Youth Travel Organisation (SYTO) Ghana. By accessing or using the site, you accept these terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Use of the website
You may use this website for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, or use it in a way that could harm SYTO, its participants, or other users.
The content on this site is provided for general information about our organisation and programmes and may change without notice.
Programmes, clubs, and applications
Applying to a programme, joining a SYTO Club, or submitting a homestay or hosting request does not create a binding placement. Participation is confirmed separately and may be subject to eligibility, availability, fees, and additional programme-specific terms.
You agree to provide accurate information in any application and to comply with the rules and codes of conduct of the programmes you take part in.
Host family arrangements
SYTO facilitates connections between participants and host families and provides support throughout a placement. Hosts and participants are responsible for conducting themselves respectfully and honouring the arrangements they agree to.
Intellectual property
The SYTO name, logo, text, images, and other content on this site are owned by or licensed to SYTO Ghana and may not be copied or reused without our permission.
Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party websites, forms, and social media. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites, and their terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.
Disclaimer and liability
The website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, SYTO is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the website or reliance on its content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Ghanaian courts.

We may revise these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated.
